Support for children and young people

FearFree is the commissioned provider of Domestic Abuse (DA) support in Wiltshire

They provide trauma-informed, person-centred, domestic abuse support to victims and their families

They aim to increase the safety & wellbeing of children and young people affected by Domestic Abuse, to break the cycle of abuse

(FearFree was previously known as FearLess and  Splitz).

Children's Recovery Worker

  • For children and young people who have witnessed domestic abuse
  • Ages 5+
  • All risk levels
  • Trauma-informed support which is play based

DA Children’s Worker

  • For young people who have witnessed domestic abuse
  • Standard to medium risk
  • Aged 11 – 17
  • Short term structured 1:1 support that is educational & needs led

Young person IDVA

  • For young people who are victims of DA where perpetrator is an intimate partner
  • High risk victims aged 13 – 21
  • Short to medium term 1:1 support, focused on reducing risk & increasing safety

Inspiring Families

Inspiring families is a 10-week course where the abusive and non-abusive parent can work on themselves and together to provide a safer and happier environment where their child can be free from living with domestic abuse. More information here.
