Jigsaw (from 2013)

The Jigsaw team presented to Wiltshire and Swindon teachers about the mindful approach to PSHE Education at the 2014 Healthy Schools conference.

Our Primary PSHE Education meetings in October 2013 provided an opportunity for schools to look at a newly published Early Years resource, that can be used by Wltshire schools to complement our Key Stage 1 & 2 PSHE Education scheme of work Learn 4 Life.

Wiltshire teachers attended a day of training on 26th November 2013, focussing on PSHE Education in the Early Years Foundation Stage using the Jigsaw resources.

Wiltshire teachers that attended this day had the opportunity to buy the Jigsaw materials with £100 discount, following the course.

The materials include:

Teaching material folder (Years F1/2)
Jigsaw Friend
Jigsaw Chime
CD of Jigsaw music/songs
Teaching materials CDRom including all resources, PowerPoints, photos and Jigsaw Journal covers

The Early Years Foundation Stage materials are part of a whole school PSHE Education scheme of work for Primary schools written by Jan Lever and Clare Williams.

More information can be found on the Jigsaw website: http://www.jigsawpshe.com/

Jan Lever delivered the course 'Closing the gap by enhancing the wellbeing of disadvantaged learners' to Wiltshire schools during March 2015 and January 2016.
