Drugs...and Stuff (archive)

Please note: This historic PSHE education scheme of work no longer meets current national requirements and has not been updated since it was first published over a decade ago. Although they remain online as an archive, many of the lesson plans would need significamt adaptation for use in schools today.

This resource was a scheme of work for drug education at KS3 & KS4. It was intended to be used by Wiltshire teachers as part of a planned programme of PSHE Education with young people of all abilities.

At Key Stage 3, it was sometimes used as a supplement to Kaleidoscope.

The main themes are based around the previous National Curriculum's End of Key Stage Statements for Personal Wellbeing. These cover Personal Identity, Healthy Llifestyles, Diversity, Relationships, Getting Help and Risk.

Drugs...and Stuff (2011) was developed by a group of Local Authority PSHE and Drug Advisers in the South West. the materials were provided for use in schools in Bath & North East Somerset, Bristol, Somerset, South Gloucestershire, Swindon and Wiltshire.

Wiltshire secondary schools were origially provided with a hard copy of this resource, in a ringbinder, as well as the contents in electronic form on DVD, which is reproduced below.
