New mental health toolkits and Wiltshire training

Two new national mental health toolkits have recently been published which can be found here.

The Child mental health toolkit for schools (2106) has been developed by The National Children’s Bureau for school leaders wishing to assess and improve the support their school provides for children’s well being and mental health. 

Measuring and monitoring children and young people’s mental wellbeing: A toolkit for schools and colleges (2016) has been produced by Public Health England to raise awareness amongst school and college staff of the range of validated tools that are available to help measure subjective mental wellbeing amongst the student population.

To support Wiltshire schools address a range of topics related to emotional and mental health a range of free new courses are now available to book. These take place between January and March 2017 and form part of the support from the Wiltshire CWMT School Mental Health Network.
