National School Breakfast Programme

Thursday 4th July 2024

The current programme has been extended and is now running until July 2025. Places are still available if any eligible Wiltshire schools are interested. The offer is available to all schools that have 40% or more children in IDACI bands A-F.

As part of the programme, bagels, cereals and porridge can be delivered to schools each week to enable them to provide breakfast in a variety of ways including: a traditional breakfast club, bagel bar, classroom breakfast or arrival breakfast.  All participating schools receive a 75% subsidy for breakfast club provision until the end of the current programme in July 2025, meaning they pay just 25% of the cost of food and delivery.  Ideas and suggested funding streams can be provided to support the cost of breakfast.

If schools are interested in applying they can complete an expression of interest here and the team will be in touch.

Please note: If your school is currently receiving support for your breakfast provision from Magic Breakfast, or Gregg's, your school will unfortunately not qualify for the National School Breakfast Programme.
