KS1-5 Hollyoaks and extremism resources

Monday 27th January 2020

Each week,  www.votesforschools.com  creates resources for schools and youth leaders to hold a debate on a topical issue.

The students then vote and comment on the debate, and the website shares that data with those who need to know.

Can sharing stories prevent extremism?

Working with the police Counter Terrorism Youth Advisory Group (and with a little help from Hollyoaks) votesforschool are looking at whether sharing stories and experiences can help self-safeguard against radicalisation and extremism.

The following resources are being shared to hear what young people have to say about this issue. Please do take the time to contact info@votesforschools.com to share how your young people voted and any comments they have. this will be fed back to the Advisory Group and to the Prevent team at the Department for Education. They are really interested in what you have to say.
