How to use the Prevent Self-Assessment Toolkit for Schools

In October 2022 the DfE produced a Prevent duty self-assessment tool for schools.

This supports The Prevent duty: an introduction for those with safeguarding responsibilities (DfE, October 2022) 

There are free webinars to support schools to use this new tool.  

A webinar to support schools to use the Prevent Self-Assessment Toolkit.

This 45 minute MS Teams webinar will provide a short but essential insight into how to use the Prevent School’s Self-Assessment Toolkit by sharing tips on how to gather evidence of compliance & effectiveness, signposting to useful resources specific for the schools sector & suggesting ways in which the outcomes from using the toolkit can be recorded & used to address gaps & weaknesses in current provision ahead of Ofsted inspection.

The webinar will be delivered by subject matter Prevent education experts who will be able to answer questions & share good practice tips & experience.
