Five to Thrive training

Thursday 9th January 2020

Exciting training opportunity: Five to Thrive: Attachment, Trauma informed practice and Resilience (FTT:ATR)  training available 3rd March 9.30am - 4.30pm (Town Hall, Chippenham) with follow up 1/2 day session 24th March (Council Offices, Chippenham).

This training aims to upskill staff working in schools and school based services across Wiltshire to support secure attachment, promote self-regulation and resilience and to develop a trauma informed practice. The course will develop knowledge, skills and confidence around trauma informed practice based on the most up-to-date evidence base. 

Registering on this training to become a Five-to-Thrive Champion has the following commitment:

  • Attend 1.5 days of training (1 full day plus ½ day consolidation)
  • Need to complete 10 hrs E-learning to support the training
  • To be active members of a local champions network
  • To share and advocate the FTT:ATR approach within their teams
