Wiltshire primary schools achieve gold level

Eight more Wiltshire schools have recently gained Healthy Schools accreditation.

Corsham primary and Woodlands primary schools are the first Wiltshire primary schools to achieve gold level, following visits this month.

 

Work at Woodlands primary school demonstrated significant increases in handwashing & playground experience (including for Pupil Premium pupils) with an increase in school attendance over the same period.

Corsham primary school improved children's learning about internet safety and increased safe practice when using the internet (including additional ipad support for Pupil Premium children).

The recently accredited schools are: 

  • Corsham primary school (Gold)
  • Woodlands primary school (Gold)       
  • Cherhill primary school (Bronze)
  • Downton primary school (Bronze)
  • Larkrise school (Bronze)
  • Seend primary school (Bronze)
  • St Mary’s RC primary school (Bronze)
  • Wylye Valley primary school (Bronze)
