Wiltshire Police - support for schools from September

Wednesday 9th September 2020

Wiltshire Police Youth and Early Intervention Team have provided this briefing for schools explaining how they, along with Community Policing colleagues can support Wiltshire schools with lessons, plans and local campaign material.

This includes PSHE input for primary and secondary schools and campaign support.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic support will be different, but the team will continue  to work with schools to find solutions so we can maintain engagement, wherever possible.

County Lines Awareness Week – Monday 14 – Friday 18 September

From Monday 14 to Friday 18 September, Wiltshire Police will be joining other forces in raising awareness of County Lines, the exploitation of children and young people by criminals to traffick drugs.

The Youth and Early Intervention team have created a short ten minute film clip about County Lines for you to share with students (guidance is year 8 and above).

More details on how to use this appear in the briefing linked above.
