Wiltshire CAMHS online referral

You can now refer young people to Wiltshire CAMHS Online

www.oxfordhealth.nhs.uk/swb-referrals 

For routine referrals, you can refer the child/young person to CAMHS online, or recommend that the young person, parent or carer complete the referral form themselves, using the web-address above.


For us to consider the referral, the following information will be requested:

  • Description of the mental health difficulty
  • How long it has been affecting the child/young person and family
  • Impact on the child/young person/family e.g. schooling, home, friendships
  • Significant family history/events/illness
  • What the child/young person would like to happen as a result of the referral
  • What the family/carer would like to happen as a result of the referral
  • Who else is involved with the child and what have they done, how well has this worked
  • Confirmation that the referral to CAMHS has been discussed with the family/carer/child/young person to obtain consent

Weekends, Bank Holidays and after 5.00pm:

Warneford Coordination Centre 01865 901000 (ask for SWB CAMHS on-call) for professionals only.

Young people and their family should be advised to contact their GP or go to the nearest A&E department.
