e-bug resources

Tuesday 26th May 2015

e-Bug, operated by Public Health England, is a free health educational resource for classroom and home use, which makes learning about micro-organisms, the spread, prevention and treatment of infection fun and accessible for all students. Resources include lesson plans, fun student worksheets, extension activities, animations, activity demonstrations and PowerPoint presentations to assist with the more difficult aspects of microbiology. The student pages complement the teacher resources by providing online games, revision pages and lots more to continue the learning experience at home.

In March, updated KS2 and KS3 packs were posted to every primary and secondary school in England. The updated resources include Farm Hygiene and Oral Hygiene for KS2 and a specific topic on Chlamydia for KS3. You can view and download the KS1, KS2, KS3 and KS4 resources online: http://www.e-bug.eu/
