Online audit support

Here are answers to questions related to the Wiltshire Healthy Schools online audit.

if you have an issue not answered here feel free to contact me

Q. I can't logon

Q. I've forgotten my email address and/or password

A. If you press the password reminder button you will receive a password reminder or new password. This email address will be a school based email, set when you joined the programme, rather than a personal email.

Check the spelling when entering the passsword, as text is case sensitive.

If you contact me I can tell you what your registered school email is and reset your password.

If you are not currently in the process of revalidating your Healthy School Status, either as you have recently been accredited or have not signed up during the last 2 years, your school audit will probably be locked until you next rejoin the programme.

Q. How do I print out my audit or action plan?

A. When you have logged, on at the bottom of the first page there is a section titled "print your progress". You can chose to print out a pdf of the whole audit (including the action plan if you working at Silver Level), a single theme (or just the action plan at Silver Level). Click "Download PDF" when you have made your selection.

Please don't upload documents or pictures as part of your evidence, as this will prevent you (and me) being able to print out a pdf of your audit. Cutting and pasting text from other documents can sometimes produce unreadable text, due to formating issues. Deleting any pictures added, will enable you to print out your audit.

Q. Where is 'The Way Ahead' PSHE Education audit?

A. It's part of standard P2 (in the PSHEE theme). Click the blue box with the ! for clickable links to the audit and action planner. You can save these on your computer or print copies.

Q. I'm not sure what evidence is suitable for the standards

A. You can read some suggestions by pressing the blue boxes marked ! against each standard.

Q. How much evidence do I need to include?

A. Quality is more important than quantity. Usually 3 or 4 sentences will be enough for most standards, as long as these are relevant. Use complete sentences where possible and avoid jargon or acronyms that may not be clear to those who don't know the school well. For some standards simply the name of a member of staff or the date a policy was last updated is enough.

In most cases the evidence should give examples of recent actions that have been taken by the school to meet the various criteria.

Q. What date should I enter for the standards?

A. You can use the calendar next to each standard to select the date when the criteria was last checked or confirmed as being fully met. Ensure the date used is within the last 2 years, when the audit is submitted to the Quality Assurance Group.

Q. When should I submit my audit or action plan?

A. There is no set date for submission but, as the Quality Assurance Group meets twice a year in October and April, you can aim to submit by the end of September or the end of March. You should submit within 2 years of attending the initial training day.

At silver level you should submit your action plan within 2 or 3 months after the initial training, to ensure your actions are appropriate, and again when complete (12-24 months after initial training) along with your completed audit.

Q. My text keeps vanishing or doesn't appear!

A. Hopefully you have remembered to press the save buttons at the top or bottom of the screen before navigating away from the page or logging out.

In rare instances saved text may not appear, or appears for a few seconds before vanishing. This issue is usually solved by clearing your cache, instructions here: https://www.iteracy.com/blog/post/cache

If you still experience problems contact me.

Sometimes simply accessing the site at a different time of day, using another computer or a browser (that isn't Internet Explorer) can also help. You can confirm that your text hasn't been lost by downloading a pdf of your audit, where it will be visible (see - 'How do I print out my audit or action plan?' above).

Q. Where is my action plan?

A. If you are working at silver level you can work on your action plan, alongside your audit. On the first page, after logging on, click on the "Action Plan" button at the bottom right of the screen.

Q. I can't see all the standards.

A. Some standards (silver level standards) may not be visible if you are working at bronze level.
