Triple P - Positive Parenting Programme
Wiltshire Council offers the Triple P - Positive Parenting Programme.
Triple P is for parents and carers of children aged 5 – 12 years. The programme is designed to give parents and carers the skills they need to raise confident, healthy children and teenagers and to build stronger family relationships. Triple P doesn’t tell people how to parent. Rather, it gives parents and carers simple and practical strategies they can adapt to suit their own values, beliefs and needs. The benefits can be dramatic and long-lasting.
Triple P groups are 2 hours per week for 7 sessions and are free.
Triple P groups are a great opportunity to meet other parents and carers in similar situations - others who’ll support you and share stories with you. From the start, you’ll be given tips and suggestions to suit the needs of your family. You’ll see video clips from the Triple P ‘Every Parent’s Survival Guide’ which will show you how the ideas work in real life. And your workbook will give you the tools and information you need to start positive parenting straight away at home.
We are now holding Triple P groups online via Microsoft Teams.
We are still accepting new referrals for Triple P groups so please continue to share information about Triple P with parents, carers and colleagues.
Triple P is delivered by licensed and experienced parenting practitioners.
